Lizzie might talk a good game about being brave and wanting to go solo but she doesn't deliver.

Panel 1: Elly tells Lizzie that Daddy's got a meeting so Mike will have to take her trick or treating.
Panel 2: As they head out, Mike tells Lizzie that he can walk a little bit behind her so no one will know they're together. She agrees to this.
Panel 3: Suddenly, Lizzie stops short because something's got her spooked.
Panel 4: As she faces down some kid dressed like one of the Uruk-Hai, she turns and tells Mike "That's far enough."
Summary: She might not get along with Mike most of the time but she also wants someone around to keep the monsters away.
