(Strip Number 4868, Original Publication Date, 30 September 1987)
Panel 1: Self-pitying numbskull Mike tries to enlist Farley in his pity party when he whines that he wishes he was a dog because they don't have to do chores or homework.
Panel 2: Since he forgets that Farley is a punching bag, he yaps about how easy and great dogs have it. Meanwhile, we hear a can being opened.
Panel 3: He watches as Elly plops a can of food into Farley's dish.
Panel 4: As Farley eats his can of meat by-products, Mike reconsiders his position.
Summary: As the years went on, Mike's vocabulary grew more sophisticated but he's still that theatrical pain in the arse five year old boy whining that noooooobody looooooves him because he has to do stuff he doesn't want to like a boring, ordinary person.
