(Strip Number 4852, OriginalPublication Date, 1 September 1987)
Panel 1: We find Mike standing around screaming about the unfairness of being handed homework on the first day back.
Panel 2: He then confuses Elly by saying that he hates this and won't do the unfair thing that he's pretty much gotta do.
Panel 3: She tries to remind him that school is back in session and homework is part of school as a means of getting him to do what he has to do. He says he knows this.
Panel 4: He then moans that his brains (such as they are) are still on holiday as a means of trying to wriggle out of a responsibility.
Summary: Whenever they try to call him on the fact that if he spent less time screaming about injustice and more time doing things, Mike whines like this because he thinks that he's more important than he actually is. Also, he's got a mother who does the same thing so, yeah, he thinks he can do it too.
