(Strip Number 1119, Original Publication Date, 16 March 1987)
Panel 1: We find ourselves at Phil and Georgia's place watching him panic as he roots through the dresser drawers looking for the cigarettes he calls his link to sanity.
Panel 2: He then asks her where she put the pack of menthols he bought.
Panel 3: She reminds him that he made her promise to ration him to three a day.
Panel 4: Since the prospect of marriage is freaking him out, he gets on his knees and whines that he lied.
Summary: As I've said before, Phil would have had a lot easier time of things and retain far more of his dignity were it not for an extraneous and completely unnecessary factor complicating things. Said factor that has no place in his life wears the same ponytail she's had her hair in since she pretended to be doing drugs to freak out Marian, has presumed to take over the wedding plans and doesn't make her hope that he'll fail miserably at everything so she can avenge herself for the walking doll thing much of a secret. Were said outrage not a presence in the proceedings, Phil would be a far calmer man. Also, this strip is about four weeks late because of the differing dates of Easter.
