We begin the "John versus dancing lessons" arc with Jean reacting humorously to piped-in waltz music.

(Strip Number 4788, Original Publication Date, 30 March 1987)

Panel 1: We find ourselves at the clinic today. As he tries to work on a patient, John tells Jean to change the radio station because he can't concentrate with driving rock blaring in his ears.

Panel 2: John finds the more soothing easy listening station she found much better.

Panel 3: Suddenly, he notices something Jean is doing and calls her name out.

Panel 4: He then asks how he's supposed to fix teeth if she's waltzing with the patients.

Summary: We're probably in for a mildly amusing comment about Muzak that displays Lynn's ignorance of why it exists. Think of it as a prelude to her wondering why a book store would have a coffee counter.
