We take something of a break from wedding planning so that John can make a mildly amusing comment about Easter candy and how quickly it shows up on store shelves.

(Strip Number 1137, Original Publication Date, 14 April 1987)

Panel 1: As he and John walk down a grocery store aisle laden with Easter candy, Michael is amazed at how many chocolate bunnies there are when there were none but a few weeks ago.

Panel 2: John mutters a distracted 'Yeah' as he looks at them.

Panel 3: Mike frowns when his dad says it's amazing how they multiply.

Summary: This could be because it's really awful wordplay or that he's having a flash-back to a math test. Either way, we're on our way to Lynn complaining about all of the evil Easter candy of making her fat and making her kids sick to their stomachs.
