(Strip Number 1127, Original Publication Date, 25 March 1987)
Panel 1: Elly tells Georgia that she hasn't worked so hard on a wedding since her own.
Panel 2: She then confides that preparation won't ensure perfection because there's always something that will go wrong. (As by way of example, the mother of the bride could turn into Fat Polish Anita Bryant.)
Panel 3: She thought she'd go crazy, but everything worked out at the last minute.
Panel 4: John whispers to Phil that's because he showed up.
Summary: Itty-Bitty Teeny-Weeny Baby Man John likes to make annoying non-jokes that make Elly look like a fool who does unnecessary things and who worries about nothing in particular because he's a creep and also because he, like all weak baby men, fears strong women.
