(Strip Number 1125, Original Publication Date, 23 March 1987)
Panel 1: We find ourselves watching Elly and Georgia working on the wedding plans. So far, Georgia has ordered the invitations, called the photographer and booked the church and reception hall.
Panel 2: Furthermore, Phil, the best man and ushers will be in grey, the bridesmaids in peach and Lizzie in cream with peach smocking.
Panel 3: Gobsmacked Phil makes that stupid palms-out gesture when he asks why they're working so hard right now when the wedding is four months away in August.
Panel 4: Elly explains to an uncomprehending Phil that in wedding terms, this is the last minute.
Summary: Elly is, of course, right on the money. After all, Phil and Georgia are hardly the only people in the world getting married AND it takes a lot of time to plan all that pageantry. Also, it seems to be Phil's job to make a point of not understanding stuff like this.
