There's trouble in paradise because Panicky Idiot Phil will do or threaten anything to get his meathooks on his smokes.

(Strip Number 1122, Original Publication Date, 19 March 1987)

Panel 1: A desperate-looking Phil tells Georgia that he can't take the stress of the wedding any longer and HAS to have one of his menthols.

Panel 2: Georgia is steadfast in her refusal to tell Phil where they are hidden because nothing will make her break the promise he held her to.

Panel 3: It so happens that there IS something he can do: threaten to call off the wedding.

Panel 4: Faced with this, Georgia confesses the cigarettes are in the closet.

Summary: Look for Lynn to do a take-backsie on realizing how addictive nicotine actually is because even if the man she was supposed to have hasn't appeared yet, nothing should get in the way of a wedding.
