(Strip Number 4785, Original Publication Date, 14 March 1987)
Panel 1: As Connie gets ready to leave, Elly tells her not to worry because they'll help Mrs Baird move and get the renovations started.
Panel 2: John will fix the sinks and Greg can stay with them until the furniture arrives.
Panel 3: They'll also get everything unpacked and organized to simplify the move.
Panel 4: Since he remembers what a slog moving in was, John is shocked when Elly says having friends next door will make life easier.
Summary: One of Elly's more irritating traits is underestimating the time and effort and cost of something she and the family do. In her mind, everything is supposed to be ridiculously easy so real life angers and confuses her because she won't prepare for the reality of everything taking longer and costing more.
