Since she's only got a week to decide on a house, Elly tells Connie to sit her ass down and listen to the real estate agent. This is futile because she gets her pad by word of retired dog breeder's mouth via a ten year old.

(Strip Number 4776, Original Publication Date, 3 March 1987)

Panel 1: We find ourselves at a real estate agent's office watching Elly tell Connie that this is her best hope of finding a house.

Panel 2: Connie isn't sure about this. She wants to take her time and not have some stranger tell her what to do. Why, he might even make her sign a lease or something evil and wrong that Lynn can't understand.

Panel 3: When Elly asks Connie how much time she's got, she confesses that she's only got a week.

Panel 4: Elly points to the chair and commands Connie to sit down.

Summary: Hmm. It would seem that Lynn not only has problems with legal documents like leases, she also distrusts the realtors of the world and prefers what we end up getting: a word-of-mouth referral.
