We end this phase of the Connie's return arc with Lizzie asking the very awkward question of where Lawrence's first dad went to.

(Strip Number 4748, Original Publication Date, 15 January 1987)

Panel 1: As the Poirier-Thomases leave for a while, Lizzie can't believe that they're gone already.

Panel 2: Elizabeth then says that she wishes they still lived nearby.

Panel 3: She thinks Lawrence's new dad is nice and Elly agrees with her.

Panel 4: When Elizabeth asks what happened to the old one, Elly looks sad.

Summary: This question makes Lynn herself sad and mad and afraid because evil people who can only be wanting to hurt her ask her why she forgot the old story.
