Elly realizes that her comment about how Farley is carrying too much weight on his hind end is a perfect lead-in for John being a fricking douchecanoe who needs to have his tongue yanked out.
(Strip Number 1104, Original Publication Date, 28 November 1986)
Panel 1: Elly reminds John that she's putting Farley on a diet because of the trouble he has walking.
Panel 2: She then reminds him that it seems that he's carrying too much weight in his hind end.
Panel 3: John smiles at Elly's butt as she bends over.
Panel 4: She yells at him that she knows what he's thinking and if he says it, he will get Alpo in his meat loaf.
Summary: On the one hand, John should shut the Hell up about Elly's weight. On the other, how could he tell if she did put dog food in his meat loaf?
