Lynn's cartoon art neck-ties are $65.00

3 different styles of neck-ties based on Lynn's design and they are $65.00 CAD.

In contrast, these website Peanuts and Garfield character neck-ties are $25 and they are silk:

I can't tell why Katie went with $65. Is it because:

a. They are all hand-made by those ladies in North Bay, and so the cost of production makes the retail sale cost high. Katie would have to ship the production to China or Korea to get a decent price.

b. Katie has taken over the on-line store completely and we are seeing the first signs that Katie's major in school was art and not marketing.

c. Katie is trying her best to discourage Lynn and her ideas of selling her fabric and has priced the neck-ties so that no one will buy them. "I don't know why they are not selling, ma!"

d. Katie decided to let Lynn determine the price and Lynn likes the number 65, because that's old she was when she designed the fabric.

e. Barney's in New York sells their designer ties for $150, so $65 for a Lynn Johnston designer tie is a bargain.
