(Strip Number 7225, Original Publication Date, 7 September 1986)
Panel 1: We start things off watching Mike hum to himself as he puts on a dirty shirt.
Panel 2: He then clumps down the stairs like he's a bull elephant in musth.
Panel 3: This attracts Elly's attention and causes her to lecture him about not stomping like he's a zoo animal when he comes downstairs.
Panel 4: She then asks him why he can't wear clean shirts for a change.
Panel 5: When she tries telling him to wash his face so he won't die of acne like Bill the cat, she notices that he's staring at her with a stupid smile on his face and asks why.
Panel 6: He asks her if she knows that she's got a bit of a mustache.
Panel 7: He finds it ever neat that she's got facial hair and she, judging by the face she's making, doesn't.
Panel 8: She's so angry that he pointed out something she'd rather not know about, she thought-bubbles a sea of black smoke.
Panel 9: She then astonishes him by asking him if he can't look at her without finding something to criticize.
Summary: I'd like to ask her why she's so easily distracted by something not germane to the argument. Her having fiddly chin hairs has very little to do with his looking like he doesn't give a crap about how he looks.
