Elly wonders if just perhaps, her children are growing up too fast. It'll take her years to realize where the time went.

(Strip Number 1084, Original Publication Date, 2 September 1986)

Panel 1: Elly smiles as she realizes that both of her children are school-aged now.

Panel 2: She's delighted by the fact that she doesn't have babies to worry about because it's a new stage in her life and a whole new freedom.

Panel 3: She then pauses to think about things for a second.

Panel 4: She then sits in a chair and wonders if maybe, it all happened just a little bit too fast.

Summary: We know that five years from now, April will fool all of us. We also know that eventually, Elly realizes that she couldn't help but let the years go too fast because she can't not lose her temper over every little thing.
