(Strip Number 1067, Original Publication Date, 31 July 1986)
Panel 1: Elly asks a distraught Georgia if they should go to Parry Sound instead of waiting by the phone.
Panel 2: She reminds Elly that the search-and-rescue people are looking for them before reminding her that she's totally confused and horrified by this.
Panel 3: Since we're dealing with a Patterson-like life form, Georgia says that she simply can't imagine a world that doesn't have John and Phil in it.
Panel 4: Elly says that she regrets nagging John over so many stupid things that don't matter; right now, she'd give anything to clean up the whiskers he stupidly leaves in the bathroom sink.
Summary: The sad thing is that we're dealing with true-to-life people here. Elly might pledge reform but, well, most people soon forget resolves like this when the situation calms down. The notes (and this arc itself) are proof of that.
