(Strip Number 4631, Original Publication Date, 10 June 1986)
Panel 1: We find ourselves at the radio station watching the on-air talent ask the engineer to remind him who his next guest is.
Panel 2: She tells the man that he's going to talk to an Elly Patterson who's protesting the planned demolition of the old town hall.
Panel 3: He dismisses Elly as being yet another screwball artsy-craftsy do-gooder.
Panel 4: When she shows up, he puts on a big, phony smile and is all about how wonderful it is to see her.
Summary: It doesn't take a genius to realize that this guy is a pastiche of all the interviewers who weren't cravenly grateful to be blessed by having to listen to Lynn's incoherent muttering and mugging for the camera.
