Elly's terror of having to speak without being able to rely on shrieking, pouting, threatening or other means of intimidation turns into delight when offered another chance to hector people about a subject she doesn't know much about.

(Strip Number 4629, Original Publication Date, 7 June 1986)

Panel 1: Now that the meeting is over, John rushes up to congratulate Elly on doing well only to find that she won't have it. She feels awful because she was incredibly nervous.

Panel 2: Super-Traumatized Elly tells him that she's never going to speak in public again because she stuttered, lost her place and made mistakes.

Panel 3: Just then, a reporter from CQRK Radio asks her if she'd like to do an interview on the whole Town Hall thing.

Panel 4: A delighted Elly asks when and where to show up.

Summary: Golly, that was a fast recovery, wasn't it? She'll be feeling really good about it until Mike mouths off.
