Dawn proves herself better at ratting older children out than Lizzie by having a better command of English.

(Strip Number 4615, Original Publication Date, 22 May 1986)

Panel 1: As he reads the paper, Dawn tells Keith that Brian and The Bad Influence are downstairs playing with the train set.

Panel 2: She then reminds him that they were told not to touch things when she talks about how Lizzie's Rotten Brother put Brian up to handling the models.

Panel 3: After Keith gives the "you know better than that speech", Brian sour-pusses about Dawn being a tattle-tale.

Panel 4: As Keith inspects the engine for grubby little hand-related damage, Dawn states that she prefers to see herself as a reliable source.

Summary: Children might not like being told on but it's for their own damned long-term good. The alternative is becoming the horror monster from Zits who recently committed a God-damned felony.
