(Strip Number 4605, Original Publication Date, 5 May 1986)
Panel 1: Elly hands John a copy of her ode to a household appliance and asks him for his honest opinion.
Panel 2: As he reads it, she reads over his shoulder.
Panel 3: He gets sort of nervous because she's leaning in closer and closer.
Panel 4: He finally asks her to stop breathing down his neck because she is inflating his shirt.
Summary: Interesting. Friday, we saw that the same Elly who lost her mind when April wanted to wait five minutes before coming to the table had no problem taking her sweet time to come to dinner when she was working. Today, we see that the same Elly who loses her mind knowing that her children are in the house and possibly in a position to loom over her shoulder and violate her personal space and freeze her mind has no problem with violating everyone else's personal boundaries. Weirdsville, man.
