Lizzie discovers that she should probably be taller than the dog she's trying to train incompetently.

(Strip Number 1037, Original Publication Date, 16 April 1986)

Panel 1: We continue merrily on with Lizzie telling Farley that he can only have the piece of hot dog she's holding above her head if he does what she says.

Panel 2: She again commands him to sit.

Panel 3: Instead of doing that, he turns into a man in a dog suit and eats the treat right out of her hand.

Panel 4: Lizzie comes to the conclusion that the first rule of dog training is that the trainer has to be tall.

Summary: Said trainer also has to understand that dogs don't think like people and don't understand English. Lizzie (and Lynn) see Farley as being devious. I see him as doing what he's pretty much built to do.
