(Strip Number 4595, Original Publication Date, 3 April 1986)
Panel 1: We start things off with Michael asking Elly what all the old clothing she's sorting through is for; she tells him that she's going to give them to Anne next door to help her out.
Panel 2: She speculates that the only reason she kept them is that she's a bit on the sentimental side.
Panel 3: She shows an outfit to Michael and asks if he can believe he used to be that small. He says that he can.
Panel 4: When he reminds her that she never lets him forget, she's all gobsmacked because she doesn't see herself as being the sort of mother who stands around jabbing her finger in the air about how he ruined her figure.
Summary: This isn't the only thing she doesn't see herself as being. As we see in a few weeks time, she doesn't see herself as being the angry, self-righteous, fun-hating know-it-all Mike joins us in seeing.
