Panel 1: Lizzie gushes about how the bake sale is going to be held in the mall.
Panel 2: She then causes Elly's "YOU'RE TRYING TO DESTROY ME!!!!!" senses to tingle when she says that Miss Lyon told the class to make sure to tell their mommies that they need lots an'lotsa volunteers.
Panel 3: Overly Enthusiatic Lizzie stabs Elly in her great big heart when she tells her that she told her teacher that she betted that Mommy Elly would "prob'ly" volunteer an' wear an Easter Bonnet an'bake a million cookies.
Panel 4: Panicky idiot Elly collapses into her recipe book and probably starts bawling her eyes out; as she melts down, Lizzie tries to console her by reminding her that she only said "prob'ly" and not "for sure."
Summary: What's interesting about this is what Elly should do but does not: telephone Miss Lyon and graciously inform her that while she would love to help out, she has a scheduling conflict that precludes her doing so. Instead, stupid idiot Elly sits there wailing about having been put on the spot and having her awful child STEAL HER TIME FOR NO REASON!!!!!!! because she's too stupid to know that she's not actually required to attend if she doesn't want to.
