John tries telling a worried Elly that Ted and Irene will probably accept her apology so she shouldn't be so damned overwrought if she just comes clean.

(Strip Number 4586, Original Publication Date, 21 March 1986)

Panel 1: As she and John get, Elly asks him if she should apologize for her comments of the previous day. He says "It's up to you" but means "Yes."

Panel 2: When she asks if she should make an appointment to make nice, he tells her it'd be a good start.

Panel 3: She then says that she feels awful and doesn't know what to say or how she is going to face them.

Panel 4: John takes it literally and tells her to turn "like this".

Summary: While her intentions are good and she wants to make up for it, we get a sort of odd twist tomorrow when it's revealed that neither Ted nor Irene 'remember' her horrible behaviour.
