(Strip Number 7209, Original Publication Date, 23 February 1986)
Panel 1: We start things off with Lizzie smiling a muppet-mouthed smile because the box of Sugar Soggs she's holding has a prize inside.
Panel 2: She roots through the cereal box to get the sticker or plastic toy or whatever.
Panel 3: This attracts Mike's attention and causes him to yell for MAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! to come to his aid 'cause Lizzie got the prize out of the cereal box and it's HIS TURN!!!!
Panel 4: He then tries to straight up grab the thing because, as he tells her, she got the last one.
Panel 5: Since Lynn is really selling the whole "children fight over nothing in order to inflict pain on their pooooooooor mothers" gospel today, we get the expected trading back and forth of "did not" and "did too."
Panel 6: Finally, Elly appears on scene and tells Lizzie that as far as she can remember, it actually is Mike's turn.
Panel 7: She then notices that the cause of all of this animosity is a pink teddy bear sticker Mike wouldn't actually want in the first instance.
Panel 8: He says that he's aware of that fact.
Panel 9: To her confusion, he says that the fact that it's still his turn is more important.
Summary: Fortunately, we're not going to get a Little Lindy show about how Mrs Ridgway didn't get that what impressed her as being trivial was all-important. We're also not going to get something about how the instant Lynn had children, what they were worried about was suddenly so much junk. Sadly, we ARE going to get tripe about how cool it is that she pulled Sugar Soggs out of her sigmoid colon and how much she hates sugar cereal because it delights children.
