Panel 1: Later that day, we find Elly walking over to Annie's place and telling her that yes, she did agree to work half days until Jean could come in full time.
Panel 2: She then whines that she can't figure out why she let him talk her into it.
Panel 3: Annie tells a shell-shocked Elly that she understands her concerns. After all, she clearly has to be wondering if she'll remember everything, how she'll handle the patients and if she'll fumble the instruments.
Panel 4: When Goggle-Eyed Elly moans "Will I fit into my old uniforms?" as if that's the biggest hurdle, Annie is taken aback.
Summary: If she thinks this is stupid, wait until Elly starts complaining that John is too big and important to praise her like he should.
