Panel 1: We find ourselves watching Elly gasp in horror when Lizzie tells her "Tell Grandpa he's wrong....there's still soot in the fireplace." This is because she's cleaned out said soot and tracked it all over the newly-cleaned floor.
Summary: For once, I can get behind Elly's terror. This is because I do a really moronic thing called remembering that Marian is present and would be only too happy to lecture her about turning her back on Lizzie. It's not like Marian thinks it's on her to actually look out for the kid so Elly's kinda stuck.
