Annie's gushing about how easy it was being pregnant with Baby Richard leads Elly to thought-bubble about how out of control he is.

(Strip Number 984, Original Publication Date, 4 December 1985)

Panel 1: As she gets ready to head her own way, Elly congratulates Annie on her good news.

Panel 2: As she struggles to corral her brood, Anne tells Elly that they're all excited about it and that she loves being pregnant.

Panel 3: As she hoists a crying Richard onto her shoulder, she goes on to gush about how easy it was carrying him.

Panel 4: Elly rolls her eyes and thought-bubbles that that's because it was the only time the kid was under control.

Summary: While Lynn does like making a meal of how wild and chaotic the Nichols kids are, she tends to forget that she really isn't making Mike and Lizzie any better behaved.
