Today's slice of life strip has John sort of trick Lizzie into feeling good. I wonder how many people would have told Lynn she had a camera in her house if she hadn't closed up Coffee Talk.

(Strip Number 6152, Original Publication Date, 1 December 1985)

Panel 1: We begin the strip with Lizzie slipping on a toy car and falling.

Panel 2: She then cries out in pain.

Panel 3: She then walks over to John and tells him what happened.

Panel 4: He then says that she'd better not laugh. This makes her giggle a bit.

Panel 5: He puts on a phony stern act and reminds her that he said not to laugh. This makes her laugh even harder.

Panel 6: He really gets hammy about how he's not kidding and she gets super stupid giggly.

Panel 7: As she leaves the room laughing, he smiles because he loves it when a plan came together.

Panel 8: As she walks by him, Mike stops playing with his toy plane and asks her what's so funny.

Panel 9: What's so funny is how she just fooled Daddy, that's what's so funny.

Summary: While this is cute and all, I only feel it fair to warn you that we're not going to be told about how great a dad Rod was. We're going to get a Little Lindy thing that says that this was Merv's MO.
