Panel 1: We find ourselves in the kitchen watching Elly do the closed-eyes lectury thing when she tells Farley that she's heading off to work so he must stay where he is.
Panel 2: As they get ready to leave, Annie asks Elly if the dog ever jumps up on the furniture while she's gone.
Panel 3: Elly tells her that that never happens because she's got him too well trained.
Panel 4: A few minutes later, we find a happy Farley sleeping on John and Elly's bed.
Summary: It would appear that she doesn't actually have him very well trained at all. No wonder what with her continuing to assume that he's a short guy in a dog suit. Okay, I know. Farley is bad because dogs refuse to listen to busy mothers because CHAOS!!!
