(Strip Number 4524, Original Publication Date, 18 October 1985)
Panel 1: As Elly admires the autumn leaves, she tells John that of all of the seasons of the year, she likes autumn the best.
Panel 2: She tells John that everything bursts into a brilliant frenzy of color, one last celebration of life before winter comes. Since he's the guy who's gotta rake the leaves, he ain't impressed.
Panel 3: This leads him to make a stupid analogy about how it's Mother Nature's mid-life crisis.
Summary: Not only can he not let her have her little poetic moment because he's gotta do chores, he also makes another asshole comment about woman hormones. Time for him to meet Mister Woodchipper.
