(Strip Number 7199, Original Publication Date, 13 October 1985)
Panel 1: We start things off with an off-panel Elly telling Lizzie to wipe off her hands after messily eating a sandwich. Lizzie says "Uh-huh."
Panel 2: Since she's sort of a slob and sort of doesn't understand that Elly thought that she knew to use a towel, Lizzie wipes her hands off on the wall.
Panel 3: The strip most people will see begins with a baffled Elly carrying some ironing only to encounter more messy hand prints on the wall.
Panel 4: She angrily washes the mess Lizzie made off the wall.
Panel 5: Since she forgets that her children love to spread CHAOS!!!!, the discovery of more messy handprints on the stairwell terrifies her.
Panel 6: She gets all rage-faced as she scrubs messy hand prints off the bathroom mirror.
Panel 7: She starts to panic because, you guessed it, she has to scrub more messy handprints off a wall.
Panel 8: As Lizzie looks on, Elly gets more enraged by the mess she made.
Panel 9: A little while later, we find Elly at the Paint and Wall-coverings department of Philpotts baffling the clerk by asking her for wallpaper with a fingerprint pattern.
Summary: As one could expect, any sort of notes will be an angry rant about how it is that Lynn felt that she could not keep up with the chaos her selfish, unappreciative children thoughtlessly and cruelly left behind for her to waste her life cleaning up leading up to a nasty comment about how she's finally been vindicated now that Katie finally knows how it feels to waste her life cleaning up after thoughtless children with grubby little hands.
