We come to the home stretch of the arc with Mike reminding Elly that he's not the most focused thinker in the world.

(Strip Number 6028, Original Publication Date, 25 September 1985)

Panel 1: A short while after she stopped booming in his ears, Mike comes downstairs and asks her if he can come down from his room.

Panel 2: She asks him if he's finished his homework and he says "Almost" in response.

Panel 3: She asks him what he means by "almost."

Panel 4: When he tells her that he wrote his name at the top of the rage, she gets all rage-facey again.

Summary: Gee, I wonder why he's so bad at budgeting his time. Could it be that he's inherited wretched time management skills from someone he knows? It certainly can't be that he can't concentrate with fun-killer Elly rattling on stupidly hours on end, can it?
