(Strip Number 945, Original Publication Date, 20 September 1985)
Panel 1: As they walk to the bus stop, Mike asks Brian what he thinks of their school so far. Brian says that he's okay with it.
Panel 2: The only thing he can't deal with is gym class.
Panel 3: When he tells Mike that he's more of an academic type than an athlete, a suddenly aghast Mike asks "REALLY?"
Panel 4: Since rock-stupid Michael thinks that being an academic is like having asthma or something or other because his parents never read to him, he asks Brian if the disease he has can be cured.
Summary: The notes are all about how Lynn doesn't want to admit to making Brian into the Asian nerd stereotype. The problem is that his being a cliche is LESS worrisome than Mike slipping through the cracks because his parents expect him to learn by osmosis.
