(Strip Number 928, Original Publication Date, 30 August 1985)
Panel 1: We start off Lizzie's second day with her asking Elly if she gets to ride the school bus.
Panel 2: Having been told that this is the case, she's beside herself with glee. Her enthusiasm at enslavement in the educational system that promulgates the EVIL LIE that he has to learn the hateful math that only exists to confuse and humiliate him baffles the future saviour of Canadian Letters.
Panel 3: When Lizzie asks Elly if she'll wait at the bus stop wif her an'Michael, Mike looks as if he's been hit on the back of the head with a two-by-four.
Panel 4: As they wait for the bus, Mike tells Gordon that he's not with Mom an'Lizzie.
Summary: The reason that he's not with them is trying to keep Lizzie from running into traffic and killing herself; Elly's actually being responsible for once is seen as a means of oppressing him. That being said, it's sort of a problem that Elly never realizes that her unfailing habit of making him look an even bigger fool than he usually is might constitute a problem.
