We begin the week with John reminding us that he isn't supposed to be able to describe babies because men aren't wired that way.

(Strip Number 915, Original Publication Date, 12 August 1985)

Panel 1: Upon returning home, John tells Elly that Jean brought her new-born to the clinic.

Panel 2: Elly bombards John with questions about what Brittany looks like.

Panel 3: John makes the stupid palms-out pleading gesture when he reminds her the he, the man, can't be expected to describe Brittany because like all men, he can't tell one baby from another.

Panel 4: When Unfrozen Caveman Dentist makes his churlish comment about how Elly should wait until she's older (it was "sixteen" before someone boring Lynn with boring words like "statutory rape" forced her to change it) so he can describe her, she froths in impotent rage.

Summary: I wonder what the Hell Rod did to deserve this one. Here he is, trying to make nice with people and he has to defend himself against this sort of thing....again.
