(Strip Number 911, Original Publication Date, 5 August 1985)
Panel 1: As they drive home, Phil asks Georgia if she's jealous of Connie; Geo assures him that this is not the case.
Panel 2: When he asks her if it bothers her that he spent so much time with his not-really-old-flame, she again says that it ain't no thing.
Panel 3: She cuts off his panicky comment about her worrying that he was gonna cheat on her by telling him that she trusts him.
Panel 4: Since he desperately wants to prove that he isn't going to do any of that (or needs to have an alibi in case he does), he gets kind of strident when he tells her that they should talk about what bothers her.
Summary: Tomorrow's strip might indeed reveal that he'd better not do this again but it's somewhat unnecessary owing to Connie's moving to Thunder Bay to find a man not tainted by association with Elly Patterson.
