I was just checking the Foob site (procrastinating here at work) and noticed that there are 998 units of that oddly unattractive (and now discounted) plush Farley still in stock. (That number of course leads to the speculation that Lynn likely ordered a round 1000 of them.... and has apparently sold only 2 in all this time, either because it is a really uncute plushie, or Lynn's marketing acumen is severely lacking, or both (my take.))
And lo; I noticed that this product has 2 "glowing" reviews.
THAT leads to the speculation that those two plushies were purchased by Friends of Lynn...
The first is a fairly generic-sounding positive review: "I'm in luv with my plush Farley. He is just the cutest."
"Luv". ...OK.
"First of all I am a huge fan of FBorFW and of Farley the hero. The Farley plush toy is just wonderful, it is so soft, and the quality is beyond amazing. My daughter just loves when Mom shares her Farley toy with her! =) Be just like the Patterson's and don't hesitate to make Farley a part of your family too, you will not regret it."
The first apostrophe in that last sentence begs the question: "Be just like the Patterson's WHAT? Be like their family? Be like their local dog catcher? Be like their pet's fleas?"
To each their own, I suppose, but I have yet to personally encounter ANYTHING in this world whose quality must be described as "beyond amazing", whatever that is supposed to mean. And honestly; that thing is merely a goofy-looking stuffed plushie, not something like an intricate Faberge egg, or a Tardis...
