Mike complains too loudly about mosquitoes for Elly's liking.

(Strip Number 4511, Original Publication Date, 9 July 1985)

Panel 1: We find Mike yelling that he isn't staying outside because there are too many mosquitoes.

Panel 2: As Elly tries to type something up, he rants that he's sick of bugs and wonders why there are so many and why they can't move to a place without them.

Panel 3: A few minutes later, we find Lawrence asking Mike, who's on the front step, why his mom sent him outside again.

Panel 4: Mike says that she did so because he was bugging her.

Summary: Lynn probably thinks that this is clever wordplay. What I see is something different: Elly not dealing well with distractions.
