(Strip Number 882, Original Publication Date, 29 June 1985)
Panel 1: Elly asks how the lemonade stand is going.
Panel 2: He tells her that he just made four dollars.
Panel 3: When she asks him if he got all that just from lemonade, he says that he didn't.
Panel 4: When he tells her that he sold the chair he was sitting on, it's her turn to get gobsmacked.
Summary: While I do kind of think that shock is justified just this once, I know that it's misdirected. Elly should be less concerned about retrieving her stuff and more about how stupid her kid is to think that that's a good deal. Ah, well. As we learn tomorrow, Mike was raised by grasping idiots who gave him the wrong idea about personal property.
