(Strip Number 7187, Original Publication Date, 16 June 1985)
Panel 1: As the two of them walk down the commerical district, Lizzie tells Elly that she needs to hold her hand.
Panel 2: After all, she wouldn't want her to get lost.
Panel 3: As they continue walking, they encounter three women in ultra-dated punk rock outfits.
Panel 4: While Elly makes an effort not to stare, Lizzie can't help herself.
Panel 5: Elly tells Lizzie that it isn't polite to stare at people.
Panel 6: Lizzie's reply is "But Mom......"
Panel 7: "....isn't that what they WANT us to do?" This being too close to the truth leaves Elly gobsmacked.
Summary: I'm left gobsmacked by the notes that have as their premise "children only experiment with things to enrage and terrify their horrible mothers who have no sense of human."
