(Strip Number 869, Original Publication Date, 14 June 1985)
Panel 1: Now that the police have arrived, Constable Murdoch tells Sgt Crabtree that the alarm system was in a closet.
Panel 2: Crabtree asks John to confirm that he was indeed breaking into the Nichols residence to retrieve a child's potty.
Panel 3: He then warns John that he could be charged with breaking, entering and theft.
Panel 4: When Mike observes that it's ever neat to be in a real episode of Miami Vice, John looks even more haggard than when he damned near pissed himself a few minutes ago.
Summary: This is because John does have something at stake here: a career, a house, a family and a reputation that could go to crap if Anne is feeling vengeful. Good thing that the only thing she's worried about is that the fuzz saw an untidy house.
