Panel 1: Richard grabs for the iced tea and yells BUNGA!!! Since Anne's response is 'No Bunga', It's safe to say that he wants it.
Panel 2: This thus means that his angrily yelling "Bungongong!!!" is his way of insisting on having iced tea. Anne tells him "No. Bad. No like." in an effort to tell him he wouldn't really like it.
Panel 3: As Elly looks on at his yelling "WAN BUNGA MAMA!!! GIM-BUNGA NOW!!!", Anne tells her that she and Richard have their own language.
Panel 4: As Anne takes Richard back into the house, Elly muses that it sounded more like a conversation between Cheetah and Jane.
Summary: Lynn would reuse this joke years later in order to pander to all the parents who feel slightly ridiculous talking in two-word sentences.
