Anne warns Elly not to be fooled by Richard's friendly smile and innocent looks because he's supposedly even more of a pain in the ass than Christopher was.

(Strip Number 862, Original Publication Date, 4 June 1985)

Panel 1: Annie tells Elly that she always believed that the first child was the most difficult to raise; the problem with that theory is that it's Richard who drives her more crazy.

Panel 2: She then helpfully warns us where our conflict will be coming from by calling Richard the most stubborn, hard-headed and temperamental person she's ever met.

Panel 3: Richard then burbles something cute and disarming.

Panel 4: Anne tells Elly that looks can be deceiving.

Summary: The odd thing is that since she's aware of what a tiny terror the kid is, you'd think she'd take less pleasure in dropping him off on Elly so often.
