Claire and Elly are grateful that their chaos-loving offspring were not at the puppetry workshop because, as we all know, children must NEVER be seen in the adult world EVER!!!!!!

(Strip Number 4490, Original Publication Date, 5 April 1985)

Panel 1: As she and Claire leave one of the workshops, Elly tells her that her kids would have loved it.

Panel 2: Claire agrees because her own children would have been equally delighted.

Panel 3: Elly points out that the music is why she thinks that they wouldn't be able to sit still.

Panel 4: Claire agrees, but adds that it's a good thing the kids aren't there.

Summary: Remember back when this library business started and Mike said that Elly gets along great with kids just so long as they aren't hers? We're getting a face-full of that today, gang! Simply put, Elly and Claire don't want their children to come within a light-year of anything they're doing because they'll just ruin it.
