Panel 1: In the alternative FOOBiverse, silhouettes are used appropriately, like when it is dark in a room instead of the brightly lit outdoors. In the alternative FOOBiverse, Deanna is concerned about her child, without mentioning the Kelpfroths or her mother even once.
Panel 2: In the alternative FOOBiverse, Deanna doesn’t have collagen lip injections. In the alternative FOOBiverse, Deanna and Mike are two gay men, where Deanna is the fem, and Michael has a masculine lantern jaw and an extraordinarily long neck. In the alternative FOOBiverse, Michael makes a practical suggestion about his child possibly picking up diseases in day care, instead of his usual insensitive remark, pertaining to Deanna’s poor mothering skills. In the alternative FOOBiverse, Deanna points out Robin has a low resistance without immediately going to what we are all thinking, “It’s the Kelpfroths’ smoking that is causing it.”
Panel 3: In the alternative FOOBiverse, Michael would take a week off work to stay with a sick child, instead of making Deanna carry the whole load. In the alternative FOOBiverse, Deanna does not look perfect or act perfect all the time. She actually looks pretty darn bad in this panel, like she had her head shaved recently.
Panel 4: In the alternative FOOBiverse, Deanna has self-recriminating thoughts about her motherhood. In the alternative FOOBiverse, Michael gives practical advice instead of making a bad pun to solve the problem. In the alternative FOOBiverse, Deanna looks remarkably like a blonde Mike, as she does her hands-across her chest sit-up in bed. Well, they say the longer couples spend with each other, the more they look alike. That must be true in the alternative FOOBiverse.
