Today's strip has Lynn nag Aaron about his being overly clingy and not wanting her to have a voice and so on and so forth.

(Strip Number 811, Original Publication Date, 26 February 1985)

Panel 1: At breakfast, Elly tells Mike that she has to work late that day and asks him to arrange another ride to hockey practice.

Panel 2: Michael complains that it was supposed to be a part-time job but she's always there.

Panel 3: She says that she's sorry about this but the people at the library really need her right now,.

Panel 4: When Michael says that he needs her too, Elly gets all gobsmacked.

Summary: You'll have to imagine a crappy impersonation of Sir Richard Attenborough when I talk about how "Here, we see an example of the Suburban Housewife encountering her natural enemy: The Overly Clingy Child With Mommy Issues." This is because I personally think that Elly set things up so that Mike thinks that she only wants outside interests to remind him how much she hates him.
