Lynn lays yet another Mike doesn't see how much work Elly has to do strip on us. Ah, well. At least this sort of thing kept Aaron's ears warm in the winter.

(Strip Number 800, Original Publication Date, 12 February 1985)

Panel 1: We find ourselves in the kitchen today. As Elly guides Mike to the table, she reminds him that his class party is coming up so he'd better get his Valentine's cards done.

Panel 2: She tells him that she's gotten him two kinds of cards, the names of his classmates and a special one for his teacher.

Panel 3: All he needs to do is sit down and sign everything and he's good to go.

Panel 4: His response of sighing about how every year, he's gotta go through all of that trouble despite her having done all of the work shocks and saddens Elly.

Summary: Ah, my. Yet another strip in which the children aren't sufficiently grateful for the hard work their pooooooooooooooooor mother does and how selfish and cruel and evil they are because of that. I'd freaking hate to be Aaron with the reputation he got stuck with after years of crap strips like this.
