We continue on where we left off with Elly making a rather awful comment that reminds us how much she hates children.
(Strip Number 4471, Original Publication Date, 6 February 1984)
Panel 1: Michael evilly tells an angry Elly evil lies about how he didn't mean to wake the baby and also couldn't be expected to know he was there in the first place.
Panel 2: He then smiles and starts playing with the little fellow.
Panel 3: He then talks about how cute Ricky is and makes a generalization about how all babies are cute. Elly agrees.
Panel 4: She then says that it's a natural camouflage designed to guarantee their survival.
Summary: Gee. What a lovely human being Elly is. Well, we did know going in that she's still the defiant, vain and combative six year old who attacks things out of sheer malicious rage so it makes sense that she sees children as adversaries to triumph over.
